About Our Program
“About Our Program”
What is Soccer Time Kids®?
Soccer Time Kids® is a sports program specifically designed for children from one to five years old. We endeavour to provide the basic foundations for a child’s future education through soccer specific lessons. By nature of the course children will be encouraged to participate in physical play in the form of soccer based activities in order to develop their early years gross motor skills.
The Soccer Time Kids® program features progressive educational lessons, incorporating shapes, number identification, colours and literacy throughout its sessions. Furthermore, as we encourage a positive learning environment, the social aspect of sport is integrated into our sessions allowing for preschoolers to build healthy relationships with their teammates, parents/guardians and coaches.
Why choose Soccer Time Kids®?
As an educational sports program we have researched coaching approaches, early years learning and development outcomes and cognitive development methods that are specific to preschool aged children.
We have created a program that is progressive for each age group, providing sports drills, which are achievable in that age bracket. A predominant aspect of Soccer Time Kids® is the emphasis on our three areas for individual growth. These developmental areas are:
Gross motor skills
Cognitive learning and
The building of social relationships.
What can you expect from a Soccer Time Kids® session?
All Soccer Time Kids® sessions feature highly experienced coaches to ensure each child has the opportunity to grow and develop at their own individual rate. Following on from this, the Soccer Time Kids® program offers three separate age groups (please refer to curriculum for a detailed explanation of each age group) with each session running for a duration of 45 minutes.
The Soccer Time Kids® equipment is specially selected to improve the preschoolers gross motor skills and to generate a fun experience to their cognitive learning.
An aspect of Soccer Time Kids® is the requirement of parental participation which allows caregivers to enjoy their child’s successes and progression within the program. Also as all Soccer Time Kids® sessions are conducted in indoor facilities, preschoolers are able to enjoy their program without the weather elements disrupting their learning.

Billy Angeloglou
Billy is the director of Soccer Time Kids® and has a long history with soccer, having played the sport throughout his childhood and adolescent years. Driven by his passion for the game Billy aspired to learn the correct soccer training methodology and has since received his soccer coaching qualifications whilst living in England over the period 2004 to 2006. During this time Billy gained his Level 1 FA Football Coaching Certificate, Level 2 FA Football Coaching Certificate, FA Coaching Disabled Footballers Certificate, Futsol Certificate, Soccer Parent Certificate, Child Protection Certificate and Best Practice Certificate. As a part of these courses he was required to seek practical experience. Billy has worked with Altrincham Football Club reserves and youths (Conference League) and the Broadheath Central FC coaching teams from under 10’s through to under 17’s. Billy was also fortunate enough to have the pleasure of meeting and observing training sessions run by Stuart Leicester who has worked for Manchester United for a number of years and has coached many of the young training teams at Manchester United. Stuart Leicester together with Stephen Lewis (at the time- a head coach in Broadheath FC) were the directors of SIS- Sports In Schools and coached at Stockport County- Centre of Excellence. Through opportunities like this, Billy was able to further his understanding of soccer drills and was able to adjust coaching techniques according to a child’s ability.
As a result of the professional qualifications gained by Billy and this, together with the training sessions that the Soccer Time Kids® staff constantly undertake and the educational developments incorporated into the lessons, an exceptional sports educational team has been created for the benefit of the Soccer Time Kids® students.
